Designed in 1990, the G36 has been adopted by many Armed Forces and Police Forces around the World, including the North America Law Enforcement Agencies, the Spanish Army, Norwegian Coastal Ranger, the German Army and has also been procured by the British Army with a view of possibly adopting it as the standard infantry weapon. The G36C is the compact version of the G36 assault rifle.
KWA bring out this G36C AEG, which is a nice-looking replica and looks and feels as solid as the Marui one - the magazines from the Marui G36C are also usable with the KWA one! Aesthetically, the AEG differs slightly to the Marui one, as the KWA has the addition of a large handguard which has storage to squeeze a large 8.4v 2000mAh battery in to. Also the RIS rail on the top is made from ABS, although the rails on the handguard are metal. Other metal parts include the flash-hider and trigger. The main receiver, made from ABS, features the HK trademarks. It has a folding stock, which is very sturdy and when folded out, proves to be rock solid too, with no play or wobble.
The performance is pretty good as standard, with 355fps using .2g BBs. Overall, this KWA G36C offers a great package that rivals that of Tokyo Marui's.
