The G36C is a German answer to the short-barrel rifle or SBR, a compact version of the original Bundeswehr service rifle the G36, and even shorter than its carbine variant, the G36K. The G36C is very popular with law enforcement, especially with elite police tactical units around the world it is compact, about the same as most submachine guns but it's chambered in the more powerful 5.56 NATO rifle rounds compared to pistol calibers fired from SMGs.

The G36C+ or the G36C Plus from Tokyo Marui is a long-needed update from the original Tokyo Marui P90 electric airsoft gun that came out almost two decades ago, Although there was a Next Generation Recoil Shock (NGRS) version of the Tokyo Marui G36C, the original Tokyo Marui G36C never had a facelift since it was released back in 2002, yeah, it's been a while. This new one has a few major changes. First of all, the built quality, the original Tokyo Marui G36C airsoft gun is made mostly of ABS plastic, which isn't bad and all but it does have that annoying creaking noise when you pick it up and try to do operator things with it. The G36C + is made of higher-quality polymers for its receiver and has more metal parts, which similar to the real gun has a metal receiver and a polymer body. Sticking to the realism factor, this airsoft G36C also takes down similarly to how the real one would simply remove the magazine, remove the pins and you have a Tokyo Marui G36C in a few chunks, oh and batteries goes into the front part of the gun. Regarding the battery, although it does come with a small Tamiya connector, the new Plus series from Tokyo Marui is designed to take the new Tokyo Marui MS Li-Po batteries, which if you have some of those, all you need to do is to remove the Tamiya adaptor and it is reveal the MS connector.
