Umarex Glock 17 Gen 5 MOS CO2 Airsoft Pistol (CNC Steel Version) - by SRC

Umarex (Elite Force) and Glock have been releasing different models and generations of licensed Airsoft Glocks on the market for several years now. VFC manufactures most of the replica models from various generations, while GHK releases the premium steel GHK Glock 17 Gen 3. However, all of these aforementioned Airsoft replicas are not optic-ready, which begs the question from most Airsoft Glock enthusiasts, as Glock released the MOS back in 2015. The MOS for those who are unfamiliar with the term, is an acronym that stands for "Modular Optics System. " A real-steel Glock with the MOS feature allows shooters to install a variety of different optics with different footprints.

Well, fret no more, as Umarex (Elite Force) is now working in collaboration with SRC to create probably the most popular and newest version of the Glock series with the MOS out of the box - The Glock 17 Gen 5 MOS! Apart from the obvious features of the Gen 5 MOS, the SRC Glock 17 GBB Airsoft pistol is built to be dual power ready out of the box, which means that Green Gas and CO2 magazines for this gun are interchangeable and is easy as plug and play. SRC did note that with Green Gas, the Airsoft gun will shoot an average of 290 FPS, while with CO2, it could go to an average of 310 FPS.

This Airsoft pistol is a high-quality replica of the original real-steel pistol, with it being optic-ready out of the box, it comes with a set of four optic plates to accommodate different mainstream and popular red dots and their footprints, allowing the end user to run almost any red dot optics that you could think of. The Airsoft version faithfully replicates the same features externally, with high-quality trade and roll markings and a nice phosphate finish on the slide. With this particular version of the SRC Umarex Glock 17 coming equipped with a steel slide set and a steel outer barrel, the hammer and sear set are also reinforced, being made out of stainless steel, allowing everything to work flawlessly in conjunction with the heavy-duty steel slide. The gas efficiency of the pistol is also quite impressive, as a fully charged Green Gas magazine can last up to three full reloads and with a positive slide lock. The pistol kicks hard with the CO2 magazine and it shares the same level of gas efficiency, lasting up to 2 and a half reloads with a positive slide lock. As this is a fully licensed product of Umarex and Glock, it is carefully replicated in its dimensions as well, allowing the end-user to use accessories and holsters designed for the real Glock as well.
