Tokyo Marui HI Capa 5.1 GBB Airsoft Pistol (R-Series)

Tokyo Marui has created many industry firsts and are considered one of the greatest forefathers of modern-day airsoft. It is a fact that many of Tokyo Marui's inventions have been used for decades now, such as AEGs, the Version 2 and 3 gearboxes are still the most common AEG gearboxes on the field, the accurate VSR-10 system, arguably still the best spring action sniper system on the market and of course, the Hi-Capa platform. The Tokyo Marui Hi Capa is basically a 2011 before it was even called a 2011, and this system has dominated the airsoft field, to a point where if you are an airsofter, there is definitely a point in your airsoft life where you have either owned one or shot one.

Tokyo Marui is not exactly an airsoft company that does what its fans tell them to, they just do things and they know, you will buy it. With that in mind here is something no one really asked for, the Tokyo Marui HI Capa 5.1 GBB Airsoft Pistol (R-Series). Its looks like a regular old Tokyo Marui 5.1 Hi Capa with some minor differences, but there is a lot of difference between the Tokyo Marui Hi-Capa 5.1R compared to its much older brother. This is a spawn of weird Japanese domestic laws, where adolescents aged 14 -17 can play with airsoft guns if they are under the muzzle velocity of 0.135 Joules or about 120 FPS. That is a very low FPS output thanks to an almost nonexistent inner barrel, however, this Hi-Capa still has a hop-up unit and has good accuracy for what it is offering.

The Tokyo Marui Hi-Capa 5.1R may not be what you want to pick up for an IPSC tournament or a MILSIM event but it is definitely a great choice if you go for newbie games where everyone is a rental, as this gun will make sure that your friends will not complain even if you overshot them.

Please note that this airsoft pistol is meant for lower-velocity, it is recommended that only HFC134a or Duster gases be used with this gas airsoft gun.
