Northeast STEN MK5 GBB
The STEN gun was a pistol caliber SMG mass-produced during WWII by the British that was widely used in all theaters of war during and after that time. Though looking rather crude, the STEN was was something that was easy to operate and use which was one of the reasons why it was also famously used by Israel during some of their early wars against their enemies.
The STEN MK5 is a much more refined product and features such things a pistol grip, vertical fore grip, and fixed stock which all crafted from real wood. The MK5 still does keep some of the signature features found on the original gun such as its receiver shape, sights, as well as the iconic side loading magazine placement. The real steel gun had this feature as it was necessary to use the magazine as a means of controlling the recoil of the weapon when being fired as it was too short to hold the receiver or other areas of the gun due to its lack of surface or simply due to it heating up.
The airsoft version is very well made and its weight gives it an air of authenticity. The gun comes disassembled and requires the user to put it together, however, its very engaging and feels like you are putting a real one together.
The gun works with both green gas or HFC 134a.
