Popular among competitive and recreational shooters, the CZ75 was one of the original "Wonder Nines" pistols for its staggered-column, all steel construction that is hammer forged, along with its unique low-bore axis design, reducing felt recoil as the barrel aligns with the shooters arm and hand. Developed from the ground up, CZ presented a new job for their new engineers to develop a 9x19 Parabellum pistol, having the complete freedom to develop an innovative pistol design, later becoming a member of the "Wonder Nine", a term coined and popularized by American firearms-related magazines that advocated police departments in the 80s and 90s to switch over to semi-auto 9x19 chambered pistols that were able to fire first shot double-action, has a larger ammunition capacity, and faster reloading, all "wonderful" features offered by the Wonder Nines, in comparison to the revolvers that were still used by the American police departments.
The CZ75 went through several alterations upon its release and development; domestically, it was classified as a secret patent that nobody could learn of its existence, whilst abroad, CZ was also unable to file for patent protection, causing other manufacturers to replicate and clone the design. The pistol was finally sold to the local market in 1985, gaining widespread popularity among sports shooters (with sports shooting being the third most popular sport in the Czech Republic), and saw later adoption with the Czech armed forces in 1989.
This KSC CZ75 1st GBB Airsoft pistol is a high-quality 1:1 ratio replica that utilizes the acclaimed KSC System 7 hop-up mechanism, which uses a rotary key to adjust the hop-up for the most precise adjustments. The slide and lower frame are made using high-quality impact-resistant polymer. Powered by green gas and HFC134a duster gas, this pistol has a snappy cyclic action and uses a double/single action trigger. The pistol comes with a 23 round gas magazine. Overall, KSC has replicated the CZ75 to a tee when it comes to weapon takedowns to the weight and feel of the pistol. This particular version is outfitted with a nice pair of wood grip panels.
