1. 661 Airsoft

Founded by Buck and Gambino, 661 Airsoft is located in Palmdale, California. Airsoft players can take advantage of the desert wasteland to flex their skills, whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned pro. 

The field offers weekly activities like Sunday Fundays and Friday Night Fits, along with numerous game modes, including Tug of War, Infected, Secure the Package, Storm the Tower, and more. 661 offers kit and field rentals and puts on multiple special events throughout the year, from tournaments and giveaways to raffles and seasonal activities. 

2. Ambush Paintball Park 

Located in Moorpark, California, Ambush Paintball Park is a paintball and airsoft field perfect for private groups, birthday parties, corporate games, kids games, and team-building events. 

Airsoft (and paintball) players are sure to have hours of fun on the outdoor fields, which feature cars, trucks, containers, and plenty of other barriers to work around as you play. Ambush is a family-friendly facility with a great community behind it, with rental equipment available if you’re just starting out. 

3. Code Red Airsoft Park

Code Red Airsoft Park is one of the best airsoft fields in California. Located in Perris, Code Red is a family-friendly airsoft field that welcomes birthday and bachelor parties, youth group summer camps, and corporate team-building outings. 

Players must be at least 10 years old to play a game, and the field runs about four games per hour, rain or shine. Code Red offers rentals and free courtesy charging stations in case your batteries go dead. Break around noon for fresh food cooked on-site or a slice of pizza. 

Code Red also offers MILSim Tactical Training classes if you want to take your airsofting to the next level. 

4. Combat Paintball Park

The outdoor fields at Combat Paintball Park in Castaic host hundreds of airsoft, paintball, nerf battles, archery tag, and gel blaster games every year. Airsoft players must be at least seven years old to play. Combat Paintball Park also offers membership pricing if you want unlimited field entry and air for a year, plus exclusive store discounts. 

Hydro, Firebase Alpha, Bus Depot, Hyperball, Wall City, Castle, Ghetto City, Terror Town, Terminator, and Airball Field are all fields you can play on at Combat Paintball Park. The Airsoft Exclusive Field is also available for private parties.

5. Giant Airsoft Hollywood Sports

Like many of the other airsoft fields on our list, the Giant Airsoft Hollywood Sports fields host airsoft, paintball, and gel blaster battles. 

Airsoft players must be at least 10 years old to play unless they come on the second Sunday of every month. On those days, Giant Airsoft Hollywood Sports puts on a Kids Day, where players seven and older can walk onto the field and play.

It features a sports bar, restaurant, pro shop, and immersive fields incorporating actual movie props. 

Many big names have played at the Giant Airsoft Hollywood Sports fields, including Travis Scott, Russell Westbrook, and Andre Drummond. 6. Gorilla Airsoft

Bakersfield’s Gorilla Airsoft is open every Sunday during the summer months. This open-air field doesn’t have much in the way of natural cover, but there are plenty of obstacles to hide behind. Airsoft players must be at least 12 years old, and the field takes cash only. 

If under 18, players must also wear a full face mask. Biodegradable BBs are required, as with most airsoft fields. Although Gorilla Airsoft does have rental equipment, it’s limited and rented on a first-come, first-served basis. Gorilla Airsoft hosts different events throughout the year and has a full technical shop for support. 

7. Jungle Island Wildlands Airsoft

Jungle Island Wildlands Airsoft in Lake Elsinore, California, hosts gel blaster, airsoft, paintball, and airball games across a wide range of fields. Public games are on Saturday and Sunday, with private party bookings available seven days a week. Players must be at least 10 years old to play airsoft and paintball. 

Airsoft fields include Recon Ruins, Saddam Hospital, Firebase Rancho, Babylon, and The Junction. Players can use buildings for cover or duck through windows and doorways. The field incorporates a snack bar and offers pizza. Equipment rental requires a credit card and a driver’s license. 

Players must also have a Red Dead Rag, which symbolizes they’re out when they’ve been hit on the field. 

8. Project N1

Visit Project N1 in El Monte for hours of fun. This indoor airsoft field is open seven days a week, but hours vary. Memberships and rentals are available, and there is a pro shop and tech department if you have questions or concerns. 

Project N1 also offers Indoor Milspeed, the ultimate close-quarters battle (CQB) simulation that incorporates different scenarios in various formats. 

9. SC Village Paintball & Airsoft Park 

Located in Chino, California, SC Village Paintball & Airsoft Park is home to more than 25 maps across numerous outdoor fields spread over 100 acres. If field names like Lost Land, Baghdad, Fallujah, Germany, Kosovo, Viper, and Kuwait don’t get you excited about playing a game of airsoft, SC Village Paintball & Airsoft Park might not be the place for you. This airsoft field is open rain or shine, and airsoft players must be 10 years or older. 

SC Village Paintball & Airsoft Park hosts many events throughout the year. The park also hosts gel blaster and paintball games. Players can order food and drinks from Pizza Guy. 

10. Stryker Paintball & Airsoft

Stryker Paintball & Airsoft in Santa Paula is open on weekends from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Players must be at least 10 years old, but the field does make exceptions if a parent is present. 

Stryker Paintball & Airsoft hosts private birthday parties, family reunions, graduation events, and more. Rentals are available, and the field orders in pizza, but also offers water and soft drinks for purchase. 

11. Tac City Airsoft

Indoor airsoft games happen every day of the week at Tac City Airsoft in Fullerton, California. Games are short-burst or semi-auto only, and memberships are available. 

Players can visit the pro shop for tech hours while Tac City is open or watch gameplay live from the airsoft field’s website. Tac City offers discounts for college students, a rentable War Room for large parties, and plenty of events you can view on the online calendar

12. Warped Ops Airsoft Park 

Check out Warped Ops Airsoft Park in Castaic if you’re looking for an outdoor airsoft field. Visible from Interstate 5, Warped Ops Airsoft Park is open Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Games typically last between 15 and 30 minutes. 

Players must be at least 10 years old but can be as young as seven years old if attending a private party. Pizza and drinks are available on-site, but you can also bring your own.
