P320 with Marui Magic

The SIG Sauer P320 is a modular striker-fired semi-automatic pistol that is made by the American branch of the SIG Sauer corporation. It marked Sig Sauer's first foray into striker-fired firearms, with the P320 series as their first offering on the commercial market. The military variants like the M17 & M18 are service pistols that utilize the same components and modularity as their commercial variant and are currently in use with many agencies all across the United States. The P320 is a further development of the SIG P250, utilizing a newly designed striker-fired system in lieu of a double-action-only hammer system. The P320 is known for its crisp and light trigger pull as well as the modular FCU (Fire Control Unit), which allows users to switch grip modules and access fire control components for maintenance with relative ease.

It has been in the making for a long time, but Tokyo Marui has finally released their long-awaited P320 GBB Airsoft pistol in all of its full-size glory! The Tokyo Marui P320 Full-Size is their first offering of a P320 platform and is a high-quality 1:1 replica of the SIG P320 pistol, featuring a durable impact-resistant polymer construction for its slide and frame, while outfitted with durable zinc-alloy metal internal components. The Tokyo Marui P320 Full Size, true to its form, utilizes the same modular FCU features, which integrates core components like the trigger assembly and hammer/sear assembly into a single unit, allowing the user to easily pop out the FCU assembly to perform basic maintenance and upgrades, as well as customizing the grip module with a simple switch of the FCU from the old frame to the new, giving users a platform that they can build and configure into a pistol that fits their unique preferences.

All components of the Tokyo Marui P320 are proprietary and are built as a completely original system design. The piston assembly features a larger 15mm diameter piston head, giving the gun more gas volume for a harder and snappier blowback kick. To accommodate the larger piston, the hammer assembly has been designed to be positioned underneath, simulating a striker-fire mechanism with its under-hammer design. To ensure that the pistol cycles smoothly and consistently, Tokyo Marui has outfitted the blowback assembly with rails that lock the FCU and blowback assembly into parallel alignment, giving the gun an extremely stable and smooth slide cycle and consistent performance in terms of gas efficiency and muzzle velocity with every rack and pull of the trigger. The outer barrel assembly also features a barrel tilt mechanism that protects the chamber top and sides from wear and tear, and further contributes to the smooth slide action. The gun also features an adjustable hop-up and is adjustable via the recoil spring rod, much like VFC's P320 guide hop design. This allows the user to easily adjust the hop-up on the fly without having to disassemble and remove the slide to access the hop-up adjustment knob.

Externally, the Tokyo Marui P320 Full-Size Airsoft pistol is faithful to its real-steel counterpart in terms of exterior details, fire control manipulations, and overall pistol operation. The gun features an ambidextrous manual safety and slide catch lever, allowing the user to easily manipulate the pistol with either hand. The takedown lever is also reproduced accurately, rotating a full 125 degrees, and is equipped with a safety feature that prevents the lever from rotating when a magazine is inserted. Tokyo Marui has also taken the time to get as many details as correct as possible with the front/rear sights, extractor assembly (extractor, plunger, & spring guide), and slide rear plate are made as separate parts from the slide, with even smaller and hidden details being replicated to the highest degree, giving the Tokyo Marui P320 series Airsoft pistol a unique sense of authenticity. It is also good that they made many of the parts separate from the slide, as it allows aftermarket companies to make high-quality, detailed external components for this platform in the future, as this is still a relatively new pistol platform.

The full-size grip module is also packed with details, equipped with anti-slip grip textures on the front, back, and sides that are laser-engraved directly onto the grip frame instead of being molded with the grip. This gives a much more secure purchase when gripping the pistol and looks much more defined. The frame is also equipped with 1913 Picatinny rails on the front, allowing the user to easily mount weapon lights and lasers with ease. The Tokyo Marui P320 Full Size comes with a high-quality metal die-cast magazine that's powered by Green Gas/HFC134a Duster Gas, and has a maximum capacity of 26 rounds of 6mm BBs.

Performance-wise, we are happy to say that the Tokyo Marui magic is found in abundance with this P320 replica, shooting it feels really good with its snappy and fast cycle, the trigger out of the box feels very tactile and breaks with ease. The recoil rod adjustable hop-up mechanism is very intuitive to use and once the setting is locked, it is extremely accurate up to 20-30 meters. Overall, the Tokyo Marui P320 Full Size GBB Airsoft pistol is a must-have for fans of the P320 platform, it is a great choice due to its performance, overall efficiency, and ease of use. Though a relatively new platform, you can be sure that aftermarket parts will become available sooner or later, truly making this P320 modular and highly customizable, much like its real-steel counterpart.
