The Novritsch SSE18 Gen 2 AEP Airsoft pistol is out now with a heap load of upgrades internally as well as with its externals. Constructed using high-quality materials and components, the Novritsch SSE18 Gen 2 is built to withstand any environment you choose to run this Airsoft pistol in whether its winter or summer, wet or dry, in the words of Novritsch ~the SSE18 doesn't care!

Internally, the Novritsch SSE18 AEP's MOSFET has received an upgrade in efficiency, allowing for a faster trigger response, a higher rate of fire and better overall circuit protection! The internal structure has also been slightly refitted to allow for improved BB retention with standard and upgraded extended magazines, making wasted BBs during reloads less of a worry. The hop-up arm has been upgraded to be made using metal alloys, allowing for a much-improved shot-to-shot consistency and overall accuracy.

Moving on to the externals, the SSE18 features an enhanced build quality of the pistol grip and frame, with its high beaver tail grip profile to its highly texture frame with deep undercuts on the trigger guard for a superior grip. The slide has also been upgraded, switching from the plastic slide of the older SSE18 to a high-quality metal slide which naturally enhances durability and brings the AEP closer to a more realistic weight profile. The front of the barrel is threaded which allows the user to mount 14mm CCW accessories like a suppressor or tracer unit with ease! The SSE18 also features an attractive tactile flat trigger design as well as a fiber optic front sight with blacked-out rears for an easy-to-pickup, clean sight picture. The gun also has a 1913 Picatinny rail at the front for mounting a variety of accessories like weapon lights and lasers.

Shooting the new and improved Gen 2 SSE18 feels much better and more responsive compared to the older version of the SSE18, with its improved MOSFET, the pistol has little to no trouble in keeping up with fast consecutive trigger pulls. After toggling the fun switch to full auto, the SSE18 Gen 2 blazes through targets with incredible accuracy as you can feel the improved internals performing like clockwork, just as they should. What's also great is that the SSE18 can fit most Glock holsters on the market like Safariland or BladeTech, but the SSE18 definitely fits best with Novritsch's own SSP18/SSE18 holster, and at its price point, it does not break the bank.
