The Colt King Cobra, another Colt revolver with snake names is a V Frame or medium size revolver that was chambered for either .357 Magnum or the .38 Special round. Despite its outward similarity to the Colt Python, the King Cobra design is based upon that of an earlier Colt model, the venerable Trooper MK V, improved with the addition of a heavier-duty barrel, full barrel length cylinder ejection rod protection shroud, and a thicker solid rib on top of the barrel. The King Cobra was introduced in 1986, discontinued in 1992, and returned to Colt's product line in 1994. Dropped a second time in 1998, it was not reintroduced until 2019 as a .357 Magnum, a three-inch barrel variant of the 2017 Colt Cobra.
The KSC .357 Magnum King Cobra Model Gun is a
model gun replica of its real steel counterpart. This model gun is of
high-quality ABS construction, making it lightweight, however, it does
come with 6 metal dummy shells, when inserted into the model gun, it
gives it a good weight to the overall model gun. This particular version
is of a 6-inch barrel length, making it a large duty-sized pistol.
