Tanaka Revolver M1917 S&W 4inch Custom Heavy Weight Model Gun

The Model 1917 revolvers were large frame revolvers adopted by the United States Military in 1917 during the Great War. These revolvers as they are chambered in either .45 ACP or .45 Auto Rim were used to supplement the standard issue M1911 pistols. The M1917 continues to see action in World War II, the Korean War with support troops and in the Vietnam War with the Tunnel Rats and MACV-SOG units.

The Tanaka Revolver M1917 Custom Heavy Weight Model Gun is a faithful replica of the large framed military revolver. Although the gun is made of plastic, this is a Heavy Weight Model and was designed to have a realistic weight to it. The action is very smooth as to be known with Tanaka revolvers, making this an ideal prop for films or even just as a fidget toy to practice revolver manipulations.
