How Does a co2 Airsoft SMG Work?
CO2 Airsoft SMG works in a simple manner similar to the gas counterpart, a co2 capsule is stored usually in the magazine. Then a valve inside keeps it from escaping and loaded into the gun. Every trigger you pull strikes the latch which forces pressurized air out at the BB that’s sitting in the hop-up chamber. This will create a rolling motion of the BB inside the inner barrel which eventually makes its way out the barrel towards your target. But co2 does have an advantage over green gas in cooler temperatures as it is more stable due to the high pressure.
