A 2-8x32 addition to their Veyron line, this Medium Power Variable Optic (MPVO) from Vector Optics features a second focal plane design equipped with an advanced fully multi-coated lens, which boasts a multi-layer coating for exceptional clarity and high-definition performance. The Veyron 2-8x32 is constructed from 6061-T6 aluminum, weighing only 420 grams, and has an ergonomic form factor of 218mm, making it an excellent choice for competitive shooting, plain game, and mid-range rifle applications.
As a second focal plane MPVO, the Veyron features in removeable throw lever for rapid magnification adjustments, utilising an etched MPR-V5; a crosshair reticle design with ballistic drop compensation and cascading dots to compensate for 10 mph crosswinds. The Veyron provides 2x to 8x zoom capability that ensures precise shooting with consistent resolution clarity at maximum magnification, a magnification range that some may prefer as they argue that true 1x is hard to achieve.
The optic offers 6 levels of dot illumination, improving reticle visibility in low-light conditions where the default etched black reticle may be difficult to discern. Powered by a CR2032 battery, the red dot illumination can last up to 20,000 hours on its lowest power setting. The capped turrets are designed to prevent accidental adjustments to windage and elevation, with an adjustment range of 35 MIL at 1/10 MIL per click, ensuring pinpoint accuracy tailored to the shooter's preferences. The diopter compensation allows fine-tuning adjustments between -2 to +2, optimizing focus for the clearest image quality.
The Veyron is nitrogen-purged to prevent internal fogging and is rated IP4 for dust- and waterproofing, making it an adaptable solution for both competitive and skirmish conditions. This iteration also features an improved eye relief of 100mm, providing a more forgiving experience when aiming. As a premier LPVO optic at a reasonable price, the optic is real steel rated, capable of withstanding the recoil from .308 ammunition.
