The Vector Optics Paragon 4x24 optic offers exceptional optical quality, delivering crisp imagery, impressive colour accuracy, and outstanding build quality. This Mini Prism Optic provides the performance of a traditional ACOG while being one-third of its size. Compact at 84mm and weighing just 255 grams, the Paragon is precision-milled from 6061-T6 aluminium. It features fully multi-coated glass that ensures HD clarity and vivid colour accuracy, facilitating easy object identification at long distances with minimal distortion at the edges.
As a prism optic, it is an excellent choice for users with astigmatism, as the prism design illuminates an etched VEPS-MBR reticle on the glass, eliminating the blurry dot typically seen with red dots. The VEPS-MBR reticle features a ring dot design with ballistic drop compensation, including a 1 MOA dot and a 21 MOA ring, with a ballistic drop range of 100 to 600 yards. It offers 10 brightness levels?9 for daylight and 1 for night?adjustable via buttons located on the side of the Paragon and is powered by a CR2032 battery. The optic can still be utilised without the battery, as long as there is enough environmental illumination for the reticle to contrast with the environment. The prism also includes recessed dials for windage and elevation adjustments, providing a range of 40 MOA with 1 MOA click increments.
The Paragon series is robust, featuring an enclosed housing that provides an IP67 dust and waterproof rating. Additionally, its nitrogen-purged chamber prevents fogging in humid conditions, ensuring consistent, unobstructed aiming. Designed to fit the RUM-PG (Aimpoint Micro T1) optics footprint, it is compatible with T1-style optics mounts if a specific mount is required. Notably, this Paragon model includes a MAG optics mounting footprint above the prism, allowing for the attachment of MAG (RMS/RMSc) optics, providing a backup red dot option for close-quarter engagements.
