The KRISS Vector is a series submachine guns developed by the American company KRISS USA and first produced in 2006. The gun is most known for its unconventional delayed blowback system which utilizes an articulated counterweight to directed felt recoil downwards to compensate for muzzle climb, this allows the Kriss to fire relatively large caliber ammunition like the .45ACP with comparatively little muzzle climb. All available airsoft Kriss Vectors are made by Kriss USA’s airsoft subsidiary Krytac such as the KRYTAC KRISS Vector AEG SMG, this means that every Krytac airsoft Kriss Vector isn’t just a replica of a Kriss but is in its own way a completely legitimate airsoft Kriss product. It must however be noted that KWA also had a KWA Kriss Vector GBB but due to it being discontinued the airsoft GBB Kriss Vector is now extremely rare and highly prized for its collectability.

KRISS USA’s subsidiary, Krytac, produces and sells one of the hottest airsoft submachine guns (SMGs) to hit the market.

Although not as sought-after by collectors and enthusiasts as the KWA KRISS Vector gas blowback (GBB) airsoft SMG, the Krytac KRISS Vector does incorporate some of the same internal and external cues. KRISS Vector airsoft guns perform well in CQB with a unique and nearly recoil-less system that makes this SMG one of the easier and more pleasant airsoft replicas to shoot.

What Is a Krytac KRISS Vector?

The KRISS Vector lineup was a series of SMGs developed by KRISS USA in 2006. Named after the jagged Indonesian dagger, the KRISS Vector hit the airsoft market in 2009 under KWA’s banner. However, legal disputes quickly ended production until the Krytac KRISS Vector arrived on the scene.

Since they were discontinued after a short six-month production run, the KWA Kriss Vector GBB is a highly prized airsoft SMG that claimed a high MSRP to begin with — yet the KRYTAC KRISS Vector AEG SMG Rifle carries over most of the same design cues.

How Does a Krytac KRISS Vector Work?

The Krytac KRISS Vector replicates the real-steel model with impressive accuracy. This airsoft KRISS Vector carries all the correct licensing marks as the second version, after the KWA version. The signature exterior design matches the innovative internals that make this a coveted SMG rifle.

Inside, you’ll find an innovative delayed blowback system that directs recoil downward rather than rearward. This design translates to less felt recoil behind the gun as you clear rooms and pick off your opponents. Even as a GBB, the recoil on this KRISS Vector is minimal.

The Krytac KRISS Vector airsoft AEG features an adjustable rotary hop-up, a temperature and wear-resistant bucking, a quick change spring, an electronic trigger, and Krytac 30K motor and neodymium magnets. The 8mm Vector gearbox seamlessly works the charging handle for a smooth response and accurate results in semi-automatic, full-auto, and two-round-burst firing modes. The KRISS Vector AEG also includes a long stick-type magazine and flip-up sites.
