It's lightweight and you're able to attach it to your vest with a clip so it won't be getting away from you. The cables are long enough so you can swivel the cables around to your waist or anywhere you're comfortable placing your walkie talkie.

There are four different kinds as there are many different kinds of walkie talkies out there. There are the ICOM, Motorola Talk about version, Motorola 2-way version and Kenwood so make sure you know which one you're getting as this is the ICOM version.
