WELL PRO PP-19-01 Vityaz GBB Airsoft SMG - Black

The PP-19-01 "Vityaz" is a portable, direct blowback-operated AK submachine gun (SMG) platform from the Russian Federation. It represents a further evolution of the PP-19 Bizon SMG line, largely replacing the Bizon due to reliability issues associated with its helical magazine. The Vityaz employs a conventional straight magazine system and utilises the more powerful 9x19mm Parabellum cartridge. Based on the AK-74u platform, it shares a high degree of parts commonality with the AK series, along with providing fire control familiarity for AK shooters. Commissioned by the Russian MVD, the SMG was designed for counter-terrorism operations and law enforcement, necessitating effective and accurate fire at close ranges. Production of the Vityaz commenced in 2008, and has seen adaptation by Russian Spetsnaz units of the Interior Ministry, the FSB, various law enforcement agencies, as well as the mNamibian Marines and Uruguayan Police.

Well PRO has replicated the PP-19-01 in a gas blowback (GBB) format, marking the first GBB PP-19-01 available on the market. This model incorporates improvements based on feedback from their earlier PPK-20 GBB SMG. The front features a 14mm CCW threaded outer barrel paired with a removable triple grooved muzzle, allowing for the attachment of various muzzle devices or tracers, complemented by a faux gas block and front sight combination. The Vityaz is equipped with a simple polymer handguard that blends a minimalist surface with ribbing for enhanced grip. Its robust steel receiver ensures reliable durability during intense skirmishes, while an adjustable rear Kalashnikov-style sight, a traditional lever fire selector for Safe-Auto-Semi modes, and a magazine paddle release enhance usability. Well PRO has integrated optic mounting options from both the original and SN variants, providing a Picatinny dust cover and a side saddle rail for mounting either Picatinny-based optics or traditional Russian side-mounted optics. The rear features a traditional triangle stock that can be folded for a more compact configuration, facilitating quicker handling in confined spaces and convenient storage during transport.

At its core, the system employs aluminium and zinc alloy components to construct the MWS cloned GBB system. Following feedback from the PPK-20 GBB, enhancements were made to ensure a more reliable system with the launch of the Vityaz. Out of the box, the system features a short trigger travel with a crisp break, enabling efficient and rapid follow-up shots during intense engagements. The system features an adjustable NPAS nozzle, facilitating the adjustment of the power output to accommodate with various field regulations and performance on various BB weights. Housing the nozzle is the aluminium bolt that provides a snappy felt recoil experience, with the selection of the aluminium bolt material allowing for quicker cycling of the bolt. The SMG includes a convenient adjustable hop system, a rotary knob located just beneath the left of the rear sight, allowing users to adjust the hop on the fly without the necessity for tools or disassembly. The innovative Top Dead Centre (TDC) design significantly improves shot-to-shot performance. This hop-up chamber features a meticulously engineered structure that applies vertical pressure to the BB, resulting in a straighter, longer, and more stable trajectory for each shot. Its airtight construction ensures optimal consistency from shot to shot, easily achieving a range of up to 40 metres with .32 BBs within a 8cm grouping. As a clone of the Marui MWS GBB system, it utilises the same internal design that functions effectively with the PP-19-01 platform, performing well in both semi and automatic fire modes. Well PRO supplies a generous 38-round gas magazine, featuring a visible follower for real-time monitoring of the magazine count. The gas magazine can typically accommodate 2-3 magazines on a full tank before requiring a refill, and it includes a switch for last round cut-off or dry fire mode for home use.
