The FRENZY-X Gen 2 by Vector Optics is one of their premium offerings currently out now when it comes to pistol-mounted red dot sights. This version of the FRENZY-X Gen 2 is CNC machined from aircraft-grade titanium alloy. It is built to be extremely robust, being able to keep up with the day-to-day rugged usage for EDC, while maintaining a lightweight package. The FRENZY-X Gen 2 has a host of features, with its multi-reticle system, the end user can choose between a precise 3 MOA dot for pin-point shooting, a wide 60 MOA circle for fast target acquisition in a force-on-force skirmish, or a combination of both giving the user absolute flexibility when it comes to taking those precise shots while having to be on the move. The reticle has 11 illumination settings to choose from, with 9 daylight settings and 2 night vision settings for absolute versatility in all light conditions.

When it comes to reliability with the FRENZY-X Gen 2, the unit features a 50,000-hour battery run time on the medium to lowest daylight setting, and if on the off chance the optic is out of juice, the FRENZY-X Gen 2 features a side-loading battery tray, allowing the end user to easily access and switch out for a fresh battery cell without having to physically remove the optic from the pistol and ruining your previous set zero. The FRENZY-X Gen 2 also has motion sensors incorporated into its electronics, giving the end user a shake-awake function where if the pistol has been kept stationary for a few minutes, it automatically shuts off, and the moment you grip the pistol, the red dot is back up and running on the saved illumination and reticle setting making it very intuitive to use. The FRENZY-X Gen 2 is IPX7 rated, which means that the red dot optic is waterproof up to one meter for 30 minutes, ensuring that a little rain or drop in a puddle will not stop you from taking those important shots.
