Umarex G28 GBB Airsoft Rifle - Tan (by VFC)

The VFC / Umarex (Elite Force) G28 GBB Rifle is a gorgeously designed, albeit heavy rifle, was the improved replacement of the stopgap G27 rifle. Based on the civilian MR308, the G28 was the latest replacement for the designated marksman rifle for the German Bundeswehr during their deployment to the War in Afghanistan, achieving range and precision that G3 and G36 intermediate cartridges were unable to achieve. Designed for precision with perfected technology by Heckler & Koch, the G28 was designed for shooter comfort in mind with an accurate precision of 1.5 MOA.

Previously launched as an AEG, this new G28 version offers a much more enjoyable realism experience, thanks to the GBB system that introduces felt recoil in this version of the rifle. Fully licensed thanks to Umarex (Elite Force), the rifle features not only H&K and MR (Match Rifle) trademarks and licensing, but it features the HK RAL8000 (Green / Brown) Tone Coat, a UV resistant and weatherable surface treatment, and thanks to the various materials its been applied on, creates this 50 shades of FDE aesthetic for the rifle. CNC processed, the G28 replicates the furniture designs of its real steel cousin, such as its iconic hard anodised free float long sight radius quad rail that can accommodate peripheral accessories, with an integrated front sight and M-Lok bipod mounting. For its receiver, it features the licensed trademarks, with the G28 type safety switch for semi and safe, arched trigger guard and H&K V7 Palm Guarded Pistol Grip. For its stock, it uses a 4 position slimline Sniper Buttstock with adjustable butt length and an island adjustable height cheekpiece.

For its internals, VFC reinforced the rifles fire control with steel components; such as the firing pin and housing, hop-up chamber, hammer and safety action position, fire control disconnector set and buffer stop, with the introduction of a new nylon fiber reinforced bolt and bolt carrier block enhancing the rifles overall durability. VFC introduced a new high-speed buffer unit, enhancing the felt recoil experience and ensure quick follow up shots during firefights, and an adjustable hop up via the gas block of the G28, making it convenient for adjusting the hop up dial to zero its 45mm inner barrel.
