The Tanaka S&W M36 3-inch .38 spl 'Chiefs Special Ver 2 is patterned after the 3-inch Chief's Special. The revolver is extremely detailed and exudes a classic charm. The brown wood panels on the grip beautifully accent the jet black finish on the pistol and its short form factor reminds you of all the detective movies one would watch from the 70s or 80s.

Tanaka has truly crafted a gem that, at first glance, looks as if it is a metal gun. The trigger on this gun is a joy as the double action is smooth and direct, pulling the trigger slowly feels buttery with no "grit" feeling at all.
