M40

M40 AIRSOFT

The M40 rifle is a bolt-action sniper rifle used by the United States Marine Corps. Built from the Remington Model 700 and first introduced in 1966, the M40 has had four variants: the M40, M40A1, M40A3, and M40A5. The M40 was developed out of a need during the Vietnam War to have a standard sniper rifle for the USMC and the Remington 700 was chosen for the role where it continues to serve in the present day. The airsoft M40 has several models made by several brands including the Tokyo Marui Airsoft M40A5 Bolt Action Sniper Rifle - Black, Tanaka Airsoft M40A1 Black (Cartridge Type Version 2) - Gas Version, the VFC Airsoft M40A5 Gas Sniper Rifle Standard Version and the ARES Airsoft M40A6 Sniper Rifle - Black (Spring Power).
