It fits but hop-up adjustment no longer possible the easy way

The part will fit, however the easy hop-up adjustment via an alen key is no longer possible because the Guide Rod has no hole to accommodate the alan key for hop-up adjustment. One of the big advantages of the Gen 5 in my opinion is lost by installing this Recoil spring Guide Rod. I decided to stick with the OEM one for this reason. I am disappointing that Red Wolf did not mention this crucial fact in the details about the product. [RedWolf] Hi. We are sorry to hear about your experience but we have verified with the manufacturer that you indeed should still be able to use the guide hop system. If yours really isn't working, please contact our customer service and see if there is anything we can help you with.

Imperial size alan-key required?

Is the size alen-key required imperial? If so it would have been nice if it was mentioned in the product details. I am from the Netherlands we use metric here. [RedWolf] Hey Bertholt. We are sorry to hear. This guide rod does indeed use metric allen key. It uses 1.5mm allen key to be exact. We have updated our product description. Sorry for the inconvenience.
