KWA LM4D GBB Airsoft Rifle (with New Toolless Hop Up) - Black

The KWA LM4 Series gas airsoft rifles are veterans in the airsoft realm, having been one of the best-performing gas airsoft M4 / AR-15 platforms before the introduction of its modern-day counterparts made by manufacturers like VFC, GHK, and even the Tokyo Marui. Ever since the introduction of these arguably better-performing platforms, the LM4 like its other outdated counterparts such as Western Arms and the WE M4 / AR15 series gas airsoft guns, started to fall out of favor... Until Now!

KWA in ShotShow 2020 announced an updated LM4, an LM4 that is marketed as a training tool rather than an airsoft gun (which it still is), and most LM4 fans and gas airsoft gun aficionados alike held their breath for KWA to release their updated version of the gas blowback M4 / AR 15 series airsoft rifles. Enter the KWA LM4D, a long-awaited update to the venerable KWA LM4 series gas airsoft rifles.

We know what you are thinking, this looks just like a regular LM4 with some cool external features. Well, yes and no. Externally, the KWA LM4D gas airsoft rifle has a 10.5-inch CQB style barrel length, allowing you to operate this gas airsoft rifle in tight areas such as your home as KWA also intended it to be used as a training tool where you could train rifle manipulations at home. The handguard that comes with this gas rifle is a KWA TRP 9.5-inch Picatinny Rail that has Picatinny rails on all four sides allowing you to attach all kinds of accessories such as PEQ boxes, flashlights, lasers, grips, optics, etc., Speaking of modularity, the barrel on the KWA LM4D gas airsoft rifle is 14mm CCW threaded, allowing you to attach different muzzle devices such as suppressors and tracer units. The KWA LM4D also has ambidextrous fire control and charging handle and most importantly, KWA also generously installed PTS EPG pistol grips and well as PTS Enhanced Polymer Back-Up Iron Sights (EPBUIS) onto the LM4D gas airsoft rifle.

Internally, KWA updated the Hop-Up adjustment for the LM4D, unlike previous LM4s and other System-7 products, adjusting the Hop-Up will require you to use a specific tool to adjust the Hop, although the System 7 gas system allows for very precise Hop-Up adjustment, it also requires you to not lose the tool. We are sure that those who have owned at least one KWA or KSC gas airsoft gun that runs on the System-7 gas system know exactly what we are talking about. The Hop-Up adjustment of the LM4D is now a rotary dial, and it can be accessed by pulling the bolt back and it is located right under the Hop-Up chamber. You can access it from the magazine well or by removing the back receiver pin and pulling out the bolt. With this updated hop-up adjustment, you could adjust your Hop-Up on the fly without the need for a specific tool.

Other than this big change, the LM4D has not lost its roots, it is able to take older KWA LM4 series gas airsoft magazines and just like the original LM4, the LM4D kicks like a mule, strong recoil impulses are always KWA's strong suit.
