The Beretta 93R, basically a jacked up brother of the Beretta 92 that also fires in burst. Designed and manufactured by Beretta in the late 1970s for police and military use, it is derived from their semi-automatic Beretta 92. The "R" stands for Raffica, which is Italian for "volley", "flurry", or "burst" (sometimes spoken "R" as "Rapid" in English). The Beretta 93R was designed to be used by the Italian counter-terrorism forces of the national police Nucleo Operativo Centrale di Sicurezza and Carabineri Gruppo di Intervento Speciale (both formed in the late 1970s in response to terrorism) but was also adopted by other police and military forces who required a concealable weapon with rapid-fire capabilities. The pistol is a development of the Beretta 92 design.
Being a machine pistol, it is quite hard to control the recoil and rise, however, most shooters have noted that the 93R is way more forgiving compared to the likes of the CZ75 Auto or the Glock 18, that is again because the 93R shoots in 3 round burst instead of fully automatic and it also has a foldable angled foregrip giving shooters more control over the firearm. Although the machine pistol concept was quite short-lived, something that was doomed after the introduction of PDWs like the MP7 and the P90, they do live rent-free in most of us due to pop culture, as most of you would know that the original Robocop gun (not the remake) was a modified 93R they dubbed the "Auto 9".
The KSC M93RII GBB Airsoft Pistol is a faithful replica of an earlier iteration of the famous Raffica, with the only difference with this gas airsoft pistol is that it also features full auto, instead of only 3 rounds burst and semi-auto on the real steel. To activate full auto, simply flip the switch in between burst and semi, although this might be a bit hard to do under stress.
Internally, the KSC M93R uses the famous System 7 gas system,
offering good gas efficiency and stability. do note that this version will only take standard-size M93R magazines, the extended ones or the Auto magazines, the shorter ones meant for the KSC Combat Courier, or the Spartan SD will not fit due to the size differences. If you wish to purchase this and add a stock to complete the look, the KSC M93R Metal Folding Stock is designed for this pistol and its just a simple plug and play affair.
