HK45

HK45 AIRSOFT

The Heckler & Koch HK45 is a semi-automatic pistol designed by the German arms manufacturer Heckler & Koch. Designed to meet requirements set forth in the U.S. Military Joint Combat Pistol program to replace the 9mm Beretta M9 with a .45 ACP semi-automatic pistol, Heckler & Koch developed the HK45 with the help of retired SFOD-D operator Larry Vickers and firearms instructor Ken Hackathorn. Despite this, the Joint Combat Pistol program was suspended and cancelled in 2006 due to the price of re-arming the entire U.S. armed forces, however decided to make the HK45 available on the commercial market. There are a variety of HK45 airsoft pistols in the market made by several brands, these include the Tokyo Marui HK45 Airsoft Green Gas Pistol, the Umarex H&K HK45 Airsoft GBB - Black (by KWA) and the Umarex HK45 Airsoft Compact Tactical GBB Pistol (by VFC).
