Noveske Cry Baby, the Charitable One-of-a-Kind.

The Noveske N9 Cry Baby is a compact PDW SMG injected with the venerable Marui MWS system, melding a proven GBB system with Dytac's excellent craftsmanship. A part of the N9 9mm rifle line, this lineup takes attributes from the MP5 and Honey Badger system, with each line up given a groovy nickname for each variant of the rifle, in this particular instance, the Cry Baby was named in honour of a certain charity auction event that held about the same time as Shotshow of 2025, where Noveske donated two rifles to support the funding effort. This collaboration between Dytac x Noveske Rifleworks replicates their one-of-a-kind 8.125-inch length N9 PDW rifle, for airsoft players and collectors to own, perfect for light, high-speed builds, great for prolonged use and easy manipulation in enclosed environments.

As a replication of the real steel Cry Baby, Dytac recreates this rifle using CNC 6061 aluminum with full trademarks and rollmarks on the rifle, thanks to the licensing from EMG. The rifle features the Space Baby 8.125-inch length Outer Barrel with Noveske 9mm rollmarks and a tri-lug muzzle device with a 14mm CCW threading, providing the option to mount standard direct thread or tri-lug suppressor devices. This handguard uses the Gen 4 NSR-7.0, an MLOK rail system that offers Picatinny for its top rail, with 3 M-LOK slot sections available in multiple directions, which is great for mounting common peripheral accessories. The receiver uses the Noveske Gen 4 design, with the Noveske style AR style ambidextrous fire controls with an M-style long and short ambi selector, a curved trigger, and a flared magwell with the unique MP5 style magazine paddle release, still retaining the original mag release on the right. The receiver was milled specifically to receive the unique PDW stock rails, allowing the stock rails to sit flush with the receiver when retracted, further making the receiver proprietarily unique to Noveske's design language. The receiver features rollmarks and trademarks from Noveske, with a unique serial number for each rifle as seen at the bottom of its magwell rollmarks. Dytac installed its own DAG GBB pistol grip, along with a Noveske / EMG licensed ambi "Love Handle" charging handle and an SBT 3-position pistol brace stock, an ideal choice for close close-quarter environment the Cry Baby was envisioned for. The Space Baby also comes included with two 9mm Colt style 32rnds GBB magazines that follow the same MWS design specification, with a reinforced steel mag catch for durability enhancements. The mags also features the eye-catching Noveske logo etched onto the side of the mag, letting everybody know that you own a Noveske rifle.

For its innards, the system comes field ready, with the highly regarded Marui MWS platform as its build, a dependable system enhanced with Dytacs machining quality. The internals features the full Dytac experience, as it includes the complete hop up chamber, ambi-ready Marui MWS GBB drop-in trigger box and the reinforced nozzle, with a Dytac short bolt to accommodate the Cry Babys compact form. The short trigger break and responsive trigger is advantageous in situations that require a high volume of fire, while the 6.03 brass inner barrel, whilst short, is more than plenty for indoor skirmish use, with an FPS of about 350, this N9 provides an advantage with its high performing, compact form. Overall, this PDW provides a sense of familiarity for fans of the MWS system, a proven system that can be relied upon for newcomers to the MWS system, this compact and lightweight form would leave an impressionable experience for owners of the Cry Baby.
