CYMA AKs are highly regarded for their build quality, reliability, and affordability. At this price point, the AK is primarily constructed from steel, with the exception of the outer barrel and polymer components such as the grip and handguard, making it exceptionally durable and capable of withstanding significant wear, much like the real steel AK rifles.

The AK105 is a short-barreled, 5.45mm variant of the AK 100 series. This series was developed to replace older AK models with wooden furniture, incorporating polymer furniture, a bakelite pistol grip, and a lightweight polymer folding stock. The latest AK105 from the CYMA Platinum lineup revamps the rifle, featuring a 1:1 replica of the real steel counterpart, now enhanced with high-quality stamped steel and riveting for construction. It boasts improved internals, including the latest CYMA Platinum 8mm gearbox and MOSFET, which enhance the rifle's performance in terms of trigger response, faster gear cycling, and increased longevity and durability of the gearbox. The AK105 now comes standard with a neodymium motor and a quick-change spring system, allowing for easy adjustments to the FPS to comply with field standards for both indoor and outdoor use, along with an ECU unit from EShooter that ensures a reliable trigger mechanism operation, with options for new firing modes such as burst and binary fire, along with pre-cocking, adjustment, active brake protection, jam detection and low battery indication. For those interested in upgrading the gearbox, the v3 gearbox is compatible with Tokyo Marui specifications, offering a wide range of options for aftermarket components that can be easily swapped out.
