The C&C Tac LFCW Legion Front Co-Witness Style RMR Mount Base Plate is an RMR-compatible base plate designed to work with the SIG AIR P320 M17 / M18 series gas airsoft pistol. This base plate comes with a pair of fiber optic iron sights that are designed to have a co-witness view with the RMR.
To install the Redwin Cobra RMR, the rear sight must be removed before it can be installed. The RMR cannot be installed while the rear sight is installed. Even the front sight on the SIG genuine M17 slide is out of size and can't even be fitted..

Compatible with Vector Optics Frenzy without the rear sight
I installed this onto my x-carry. Some important pointers before you try and install this:
1. Remove the torx "fake extractor spring guide" (part number #01-8) carefully before trying to remove the BBU. This screw is plastic and fragile, and has no purpose other than aesthetics. If it breaks, don't worry and just leave it off, but it does look a little weird without it.
2. I had to apply fairly significant heat to aid in unscrewing the 3 screws which hold the bbu and rear sight plate in place. I semi-stripped one of them in the process of doing this so make sure to apply enough heat and use a properly sized screwdriver head.
3. This kit comes with its own hex screws to replace the above 3 screws which hold the bbu and plate in place. These are shorter than the stock screws so make sure you use these.
Another thing to note is when installing my optic (RMR footprint Vector Optics Frenzy), I had to use a different pair of screws to secure the optic to the plate as the provided screws are too long (I assume they are the correct length to fit a Trijicon RMR). I also had to remove the rear sight itself from the plate as this got in the way of the optic. If you use an SRO or any other red dot where the lense protrudes forward, you will need to do the same.

Revisited, front sight is out of spec
I posted an initial review in November before I tried to install the front sight and swapped out to a Trijicon RMR. The RMR was very easy to install, and this allowed me to install the rear iron sight. I used the original screws which came with the plate to do this, so it was all drop in. It is also a shame that the plate does not include the two anti-rotation pins which are normally on RMR cut slides/plates, which prevent the RMR from rotating on the plate. If you torque the rear screws enough this isn't a big problem, but it is a shame anyway.
The front sight is completely off spec, and did not fit my x-carry at all. I had to do quite significant dremelling to adjust the shape of the dovetail to get it to fit. Also, the incorrect diameter fiber was provided, which did not fit into the front sight. If you are handy with a dremel, this can be made to work just fine, but if you want something drop in, don't buy this.
