Tanaka Police Positive 4inch 3rd Issue R-model Nickel Finish Model Gun

The Colt Police Positive was a revolver introduced in 1905 and was a direct competitor to the Smith & Wesson Model 10 which was known as the Smith & Wesson Military & Police or the Smith & Wesson 38 Hand Ejector Model of 1899. This revolver is a small frame revolver and is chambered for .32, .22, and most notably the .38 S&W and was marketed towards federal, state, and law enforcement agencies. However, ironically enough this model was favored by the infamous Chicago mobster by the name of Al Capone who owned a nickel-plated Colt Police Positive.
