Snow Wolf ZB26 Carbine Airsoft AEG Light Machine Gun (Real Wood)

The ZB vz.26 is one of the most influential light machine gun designs of the interwar period. Developed in Czechoslovakia in the mid-1920s by Vaclav Holek, it introduced the top-mounted magazine, quick-change barrel, and gas-operated tilting-bolt system that would later form the foundation of the famous British Bren gun. Lightweight for its era, robust, and highly accurate, the ZB26 saw widespread use throughout World War II and influenced light machine gun design worldwide. The LMG saw widespread use across the world at its time, involving Japan (as the Type 97), China, Vietnam, the UK (as the BREN), Germany and such.

Snow Wolf's Real Wood version replicates this historic weapon as 1:1 LMG AEG. The receiver, outer barrel assembly, gas tube, bipod, sights, and flash hider utilise alloy construct, giving the replica a solid, realistic presence. The stock, pistol grip, and folding carrying handle are finished in genuine real wood with an authentic grain and color, elevating the visual and tactile quality far beyond typical imitation-wood furniture.

The distinct top-loading magazine design accepts its box shaped mid-cap magazine holding, able to accommodate 110 rounds of 6mm BBs. A folding bipod is fitted to the front of the weapon, with full adjustable iron sights off-centered from the system to ensure sighting capabilities of the vz. 26.

Internally, the gun uses a dedicated alloy gearbox shell that houses 18:1 steel gears running on 8 mm ball bearings for smooth, reliable operation. A long 6.03 mm tightbore inner barrel (approximately 625 mm) contributes to consistent accuracy and effective range. The hop-up unit is fully adjustable. Fire control is limited to safe and full-auto only, preserving the character of the original light machine gun. Battery storage is located in the stock and accepts common stick type batteries (mini Tamiya connector; typically 7.4 V LiPo or 8.4?9.6 V NiMH recommended).
