LCT-AEG-ASVAL
The AS "Val" (Avtomat Special'nyj Val, Russian: Special Automatic Rifle, code name: "Shaft") is a Soviet designed assault rifle featuring an integrated suppressor that fires a specialized 9x39mm SP-5/ SP-6 armor piercing bullets. It was developed during the late 1980s by TsNIITochMash (Central Institute for Precision Machine Building) and is adopted in 1987 by Russian Spetsnaz special forces and the MVD, FSB, and select units of the Russian Army.

When it comes to replicating Russian rifles into the Airsoft form, LCT are one of the best in the business. The AS VAL follows the the real one that has a steel receiver, polymer grip and handguards and has a metal folding stock that folds to the left . One thing to note is that the receiver is slightly higher than the real one, so if you intend to use SVD spec scopes on it, you will need to add the LCT scope raiser to accommodate the extra height of the receiver. (LCT scope raiser sold separately)

The AS "VAL" features a unique fire control system that separates 'safe'/ 'firing' on the side and 'single' /'auto' behind the trigger. Magazine wise it utilizes the same magazine as the VSS, SR-3 and SR-3M that comes in 50 round / 70 round / 100 round / 130 round / 250 round / 500 round ( all available separately). Internally the gun is powered by a standard V3 gearbox, so upgrading parts would be found easily.

The VAL would also accept standard AK side rail mounted scopes, and as mentioned above, SVD spec scopes would require an optics raiser. Battery is stored inside the integral silencer.

Item included in box:
Gun x1
50 round magazine x1

absolutely brilliant.

external finish is impeccable, and built like a tank. you could break an ankle on a bad fall during a game, but the LCT As Val won't be hahaha.

Battery placement issue

Been using it for a while. Noticed that the barrel tends to shred the wires for the battery. Since the battery storage is in the barrel it tends to cut them a little bit every time you remove the mock suppressor. My brother and I fixed this by drilling into the foregrip, and lacing the wires through the sling bar. It destroyed the front end of the gun but that’s the only way to lace the wires. Also the feeding tube tends to crack when you bump it against a hard surface. That was a headache to fix because there aren’t any replacement parts for that. Had to saulder a wrench socket In place of it. Would not buy from LCT again. Message to LCT: Have your guns make more sense.
