Maruzen Walther PP GBB Airsoft Pistol - Black

The Walther PP (Polizeipistole, or Police Pistol) series pistols are blowback-operated semi-automatic pistols developed by German arms manufacturer Carl Walther GmbH Sportwaffen. The PP and the PPK were among the world's first successful double-action semi-automatic pistols. The PPK and PP are still manufactured by Walther, but the PP went out of production between 1999 and 2024 and has been widely copied. They were popular with both European police and civilians for being reliable and concealable. During World War II, the Walther PP was issued to the German military officers, including the Luftwaffe, as well as the uniformed Ordnungspolizei and plainclothes detectives of the Kriminalpolizei. The original PP was released in 1929. It was designed for police use and was used by police forces in Europe in the 1930s and later. The semi-automatic pistol operated using a simple blowback action. The PP was designed with several safety features, some of them innovative, including an automatic hammer block, a combination safety/decocker, and a loaded chamber indicator. Most of which were replicated by Maruzen to an outstanding degree.

The Maruzen Walther PP gas blowback Airsoft pistol is a 1:1 replica of the famous Walther PP and it is also fully licensed by Umarex (Elite Force) and Walther. Although the gun is of a mostly plastic/polymer construction, it does not look at all like plastic as the finishing is done to such a high degree, this is expected from a reputable Japanese manufacturer and it feels nice and weighty holding as the pistol is chocked full of metal reinforcements internally.

The action of the gun is quite realistic as well, as there is a functional safety, a de-cocker, and single and double-action trigger. Although this pistol is made of plastic, it has a very snappy recoil impulse when firing it, also due to the slide being so short and this Airsoft pistol inherently having a crisp hair trigger on single action, rapid follow-up shots are very doable with this gas Airsoft pistol, and it is sure to bring a smile to your face when you know that this compact gas pistol can shoot faster than most stock Hi-Capa style gas Airsoft pistols that are currently on the market.
