Marushin Walther PPK Excellent Heavy Weight Model Gun (Licensed by Carl Walther)

The Walther PP (Polizeipistole or Police Pistol in German) is a legendary piece of equipment that was designed and made during the onset of Nazi Germany in 1935. The PPK, with the "K" standing for kurtz or short, is a smaller version of the PP and it is used and favored by the titular James Bond in most of the 007 film franchise, MI6, and the Royal Air Force of the United Kingdom, as well as MACVSOG Recon Skydiver Team of the United States, the list goes on. Even on the infamous side, the PPK was the gun of choice for Adolf Hitler when he "self-exited", and was the gun that was responsible for a successful assassination attempt on a former South Korean Leader.

The Marushin Walther PPK model pistol is a 1:1 replica of the famous Walther PPK model, and it is also fully licensed by Walther. Although the gun is primarily of a plastic/polymer construction, it has metal internal reinforcements, and it does not look plastic or toy-like at all, as the finishing is done so well! But then again, this is expected from a reputable Japanese manufacturer, and it feels really nice and solid when holding the model pistol.

The action of the model gun is quite realistic as well, as it features a proper functional safety, a hammer de-cocker function, and a single and double-action trigger. Although, as mentioned before that the pistol is made of plastic, the metal internal structure gives the model pistol a more robust feel when actuating the slide action. The trigger in double-action mode is heavy to pull, but very thin and light in single-action mode. The magazine itself is made using stamped steel, further adding a sense of authenticity to the model gun, with the PPK magazine having a maximum capacity of 7 dummy rounds. Please do note that the package only includes 5 dummy rounds.
