Premium TM-Spec MWS AR Conversion Kit (KS-3)

The KS-3, is the third rifle developed in the Knights Stoner (KS) Carbine series by Knights Armament Company, developed as an improvement of their SR-16 series rifle. The KS-3 is seen used by the Korean 707th Special Missions Group and the Jeju Coast Guard Special Task Force, gradually replacing the decade-old SCAR platform. The KS family saw a rise in popularity as it was selected by the British Army and designated as the L403A1 - AIW (Alternate Individual Weapon), the rifle to supplement the L85A2 / A3 and L119A1 / A2 (Colt C7 & C8), where the UK Ministry of Defense press release emphasized the need to find an AR-patterned platform that "shares much in common with the rifle system used by the many of the UK allies...", catching waves of interest from the airsoft and firearms community after making its debut appearance back in June of 2023 with the British Armed Forces, particularly in elements of its Strike Company and Surveillance and Reconnaissance Squadron of the Royal Marine Commandos and its newly reformed Ranger Regiment, being the first to receive its L403A1 variant at the end of 2023.

The KS-3 is more unique compared to most AR platforms of today, meeting the modern-day shooter demands by having a fully ambidextrous lower receiver, with the fire control safety, magazine release, and bolt catch/release are mirrored to both sides of the rifle, one of the first few rifles with ambidextrous lower receivers fielded by the military after 2023. As the smaller rifle of the family, the KS-3 features an 11.5-in barrel with a carbine-length gas system; its smaller size allows for easier stowage during transportation and is less cumbersome to carry.
