SHIPS IMMEDIATELY

The Colt Paterson revolver was the first commercial repeating firearm employing a revolving cylinder with multiple chambers aligned with a single stationary barrel, a precursor to every revolver that came afterward. This is a cap and ball revolver, as no loading lever is included, users will have to partially disassemble the revolver to reload it. The trigger on this revolver folds into the frame when in the folded position, the trigger will only be visible when the gun is cocked, making this quite an interesting design.

This non-firing version from Hartford features highly realistic proportions and operation, paying homage to the legendary pistol. Everything from form, function, and looks is spot on with beautiful engravings on the cylinder. Adding to the realism, this non-firing model gun comes with a can of mock caps, making it an ideal decorative piece or movie prop.

Lovely museum piece

Beautiful piece. Grips very realistic especially in color to real ivory. A must have if you are a collector. Only drawback is the looseness of the barrel retaining pin. Tends to slip out just from minimal handling. Considering it’s mostly to be admired esthetically I don’t really see it as a problem.
