The Skorpion vz. 61 is a Czechoslovak machine pistol developed by Miroslav Rybář and produced by the Česká zbrojovka arms factory in Uherský Brod. The Skorpion is a select-fire, straight blowback-operated weapon that fires from the closed bolt position and its compact dimensions were achieved by using a telescopic bolt assembly that wraps around a portion of the barrel. Chambered in .380 ACP, 9×18mm Makarov and 9×19mm Parabellum, the Skorpion has seen service in more than 20 mostly Eastern Bloc countries around the world. The airsoft Scorpion is a moderately niche gun but does have several models produced by a variety of brands, these include the KSC Airsoft VZ61 Skorpion GBB (HW) which is notable for being the only GBB version of the VZ61 Scorpion airsoft gun to AEGs like the Tokyo Marui SCORPION Mod M AEG Airsoft Pistol and springers like the Tokyo Marui Vz61 Scorpion Spring Airsoft (High Grade).
