TAR 21
AIRSOFT TAVOR
The IWI Tavor TAR-21 is an Israeli bullpup assault rifle designed and produced by Israel Weapon Industries and chambered in 5.56×45mm NATO. Built around a long-stroke piston system similar to the AK, the Tavor is designed to maximize reliability, durability and ease of maintenance particularly under adverse conditions. First introduced in 2001 and admitted into general service as Israel’s primary service rifle in 2006, the Tavor has proven itself in numerous military operations to be an accurate and durable rifle that was easier to maintain than the M4A1 carbine that preceded it. This success has led to the Tavor and its variants being adopted by over 30 countries around the world. The airsoft Tavor is consistently one of the most popular airsoft bullpups around likely due to the popularity of the real rifle and there are several models to choose from, these include the fully licensed and highly realistic Umarex IWI Airsoft Tavor SAR GBBR (by KWA) - Black and the ARES Airsoft Tavor TAR-21 (Black) (Scope Version) for those that prefer an AEG.
