KAC SR-25

The SR-25 is a designated marksman rifle and semi-automatic sniper rifle designed by Eugene Stoner and manufactured by Knight's Armament Company. Using a rotating bolt and a direct impingement gas system, The SR-25 is based on Stoner's original AR-10 and chambered in 7.62×51mm NATO with up to 60% of parts interchangeable with the AR-15 and M16. Accepted into US military service in 1990 the SR25 continues to see service in 8 nations around the world and was superseded by the related KAC M110 in US service.
