SHIPS IMMEDIATELY

GHK has teased us in 2023's MOA that they would be updating their gas-powered M4 / AR-15 platforms to their new Version 3 system, wowing exhibition goes with the heavy recoil impulse and overall feel of the new system and some videos were circulating the internet giving GBB players something to look forward to. As we enter 2025, GHK has begun releasing the V3 ARs and even the fully licensed DDM4 PDW V3 GBB Airsoft rifle which performed incredibly well and now the new fully licensed DDM4 V7 M4 / AR-15s GBB Airsoft rifle series.

First things first, let's talk about the update system as the V3 system will be implemented with every new release of AR-15 gas rifles from GHK. The GHK V3 AR gas system focuses on increasing gas efficiency, while also increasing felt recoil when firing the rifle. It seems like increased recoil shouldn't go hand in hand with guns, but it is Airsoft after all. So GHK has gone out of their way to do it, delivering heavy recoil impulse while retaining exceptional gas efficiency, pulling off 200 rounds in one gas charge in semi-auto, with 120 rounds on full auto. Don't believe us? Well, you can check out these tests and their subsequent results on GHK's official "X" account. Some of the notable changes from the V2 gas systems are increased piston air volume by 20%, an updated nozzle design, a stainless-steel buffer assembly, an updated Hop-up unit, and the updated V3 GHK GMAG gas magazine.

The V3 Hop-up unit now allows end users to adjust it much more easily with the included tool compared to the older V1 and V2 system which were clone copies of the now redundant Western Arms AR-15 / M4 gas rifle system which requires users to either detach the rifle's handguard to access the adjustment dial or use a small and slim tool to finesse into the tight space of the handguard just to adjust the hop. Thankfully, this is no longer the case with the new V3 system though it's a wonder how it took GHK a while to get here, but better late than never.

Moving on to the actual rifle itself, the GHK DD MFR V7 GBBR V3 is as the name suggests, a replica of the Daniel Defence V7 MFR rifle. Featuring M-LOK attachment technology with the Daniel Defence MFR rail series for all your accessory mounting needs, a standard SOPMOD Crane adjustable buttstock, an A2-style AR pistol grip, and a Cerakoted upper and lower receiver with officially licensed DD V7 trademark markings and aesthetics, this gas Airsoft rifle has all the bells and whistles that make it a major workhorse when it comes to a fighting rifle setup. Shooting the rifle feels almost surreal, the trigger pull feels solid, and the trigger reset is snappy and crisp due to the enhanced fire control spring set, allowing for faster follow-up shots and forcing the user to build a proper shooting cadence. The recoil impulse is strong and very satisfying as you feel every shot reverberate into your shoulder. The rifle is also quite light and well-balanced, enabling better fighting performance when it comes to presenting, shooting, and manipulating the rifle around corners. For those who are looking for a dedicated training rifle, the GHK DD V7 GBBR would be up there in terms of choices to consider as the V3 system catapults a sense of real-steel realism when running and operating this gun.

Last but not least, GHK noted that their M4/AR-15 gas Airsoft rifle platform is dual-powered Green Gas and CO2 ready, just like their previous iterations, meaning you can use GHK's V3 CO2 magazines for an even stronger recoil impulse and better performance in colder weathers.

The GHK Daniel Defence MFR V7 GBBR is available in either 10.3" or 14.5" rifle-length configurations.
