Equipped with a special M-LOK handguard, the FAR 556 offers full length 1913 Picatinny rails along the top, as well as M-LOK slots on the 3, 6, and 9 o'clock positions. This allows for easy attachment of accessories such as optics, lights, lasers, and other standard 1913 Picatinny accessories. The left side of the handguard features a sturdy locking tab that affixes the barrel assembly in position when unfolded, ensuring stability and reliability during gameplay. The upper receiver of the FAR 556 provides ample mounting spaces for various accessories, giving you flexibility in customizing your loadout.

Internally, the FAR 556 features G&G's 2.0 MOSFET & ETU rear wired systems in their 8mm ball bearing Version 2 gearbox, enhancing trigger response and reliability, allowing for a very tactile feel when shooting as well as instantaneous trigger response. The at the rear, the CHFS folding stock houses the battery in the buttpad with enough space to fit a 7.4V small stick-type battery with the wires being cheekily stowed away in the stock skeleton and hinge, keeping the overall design clean and streamlined.
