The Rapid Fielding Initiative (RFI) Telescopic Stock for the M249 replicates a collapsible, M4-style buttstock that was introduced in the 2000s. This upgrade modernises the fixed stock on the Tokyo Marui Mk 46 AEG NGRS LMG, providing a more compact form factor and improved ergonomics. As a faithful reproduction of the RFI stock, it features five adjustable positions, an integral folding shoulder rest, a rubberised buttpad and two sling rings, which facilitate the installation of U-loops or paracord loops for sling mounting. The stock is designed for simple drop-in installation.
