Construction:

The MCH Duty incorporates the best tech we have ever packed into a handheld flashlight. Made from Type III Hard Coat anodized 6061-T6 aluminum, and shrouded in S7 tool steel, the light head is Black Nitride plated and heat-treated to 51-55 Rockwell for absurd levels of strength. And if you do somehow manage to break the ultra thick 3mm lens, the glass is field serviceable and replaceable. The MCH Duty is ready for any task, in all weather conditions, and is IPX-8 rated to be fully submerged up to 100 feet for 24 hours. Proudly made in the USA. This is a proven flashlight as on March 21, 2024, a Fort Lauderdale police officer was shot by a gunman and the bullet was caught by the MCH that was on his plate carrier at the time, here's the aftermath photo:

Innovation:

No stone was left unturned when creating the MCH Duty. Along with its ultra-durable construction, the beam pattern was meticulously chosen to produce a massive "hot spot" while offering generous amounts of spill. We also developed our own deep carry pocket clip made from heat-treated steel which offers the perfect amount of tension for securing the light in your pocket or elsewhere. If that's not your style, the Duty is fully compatible with aftermarket Thyrm clips including the popular Thrym Switchback.

Included with your handheld is an industry-first, Adjustable Negligent Discharge (ND) Protection system. This patented ND protection system enables users to configure their tail cap for any application, whether for deep-pocket, belt carry, or plate carrier attachment by simply swapping out the ND protection rings to achieve their desired height and feel.

Power:

With an impressive 1,800 lumens and 50,000 candelas on tap, the Duty light is capable of projecting light far into the night while providing more expansive coverage than other handhelds on the market. This feature enables world-class situational awareness by illuminating dead spaces and brightening shadows. Additionally, its Dual Fuel capability ensures that your MCH Duty can operate with either 18650 batteries or CR123s, offering flexibility in various situations. Fully tested to ANSI/PLATO-FL1 standards.

When set to low-power mode, the MCH Duty transforms into an excellent administrative flashlight by offering prolonged run times. In this mode (10% output) the Duty can illuminate for the majority of the night on just a single charge. This makes it the ideal light for your bedside, in your vehicle, desk drawer, garage, or virtually any place you can think of. The MCH Duty is the most adaptable flashlight we've ever created. (Note: Expect performance degradation with CR123A batteries: 20,000 Candela / 500 Lumens)

Supports most button-top, Unprotected cells. However, the MCH Duty has minimal compatibility with Protected cells; hence, compatibility with such cells should not be presumed. We strongly recommend utilizing Unprotected cells for their significant performance enhancements.
