Classic Army Metal Stone 96 LMG AEG - Black

The KAC Stoner 96 is an AEG light machine gun developed by Classic Army. This belt-fed suppressive weapon platform is designed to be lighter than other squad automatic weapon systems, such as the FN Minimi and M60. It is highly regarded by specialized units and the firearms industry as a significant advancement in light machine gun technology. The Stoner 96 is a simplified derivative of Eugene Stoner's ARES LMG-1, featuring a shorter outer barrel, a Picatinny rail interface, and an M4 carbine retractable stock suitable for close-quarters battle (CQB) environments. Classic Army has faithfully replicated this weapon system, maintaining the weight at 10 lbs, and incorporating a custom 8mm gearbox to power the gun. It also includes a quick-detach guide spring system for convenient FPS adjustments to meet field requirements.

With its imposing, blocky aluminum construction, the Stoner features an ambidextrous fire selector with SAFE-AUTO settings and a microswitch trigger. It boasts a unique retractable 6-position stock that can be easily removed to access the quick-detach guide spring system. The Picatinny rail interface allows for the mounting of optics and peripheral devices, while the design facilitates a quick barrel change for both the outer and inner barrels, along with the hop-up unit. The metal hop-up adjustment dial is conveniently located near the ammo feed tray, providing easy access for hop adjustments. The polymer magazine is an electronically winding high-capacity box magazine thats mounted onto the gun, featuring a feeding tube that connects to a dedicated slot for BB feeding. To feed, it requires a 9V battery thats found at the zipper opening of the magazine.
