NICKEL METAL HYDRIDE (NIMH)

Airsoft nickel metal hydride (NiMH) batteries are widely used rechargeable batteries in airsoft guns, offering a good balance of capacity, reliability, and safety. Unlike older NiCd batteries, NiMH batteries do not suffer from significant memory effect, allowing for more flexible charging without needing to fully discharge them. They are generally safer and more environmentally friendly, with decent energy density and consistent power output. While heavier and bulkier than LiPo batteries, NiMH batteries remain popular for their ease of use, affordability, and compatibility with a wide range of airsoft guns.
