The Short Recoil System kit from SRU serves as an optional enhancement specifically designed for users of the SARB-15 bullpup kit. This expansion kit enables the use of full sized bolt carrier groups, facilitating the conversion of most AR15/M4 GBB platforms into the SARB-15 bullpup configuration, thus eliminating the necessity of acquiring a short-stroked bolt carrier group (refer to the brand compatibility listed below). The kit extends the rear buttpad of the SARB-15, increasing the length of pull to 16.3 inches, which aligns with the length of pull found in other bullpup rifles, while maintaining an ergonomic design that ensures comfort during operation.
