"R" For Raffica

The Beretta M93R is an Italian selective-fire machine pistol, designed and manufactured by Beretta in the late 1970s for police and military applications, and is derived from their semi-automatic Beretta 92. The "R" stands for Raffica which is Italian for "Volley" or "Burst" (sometimes spoken "R" as "Rapid" in English). The M93R was designed to be used by the Italian counter-terrorism forces of the national police Nucleo Operativo Centrale di Sicurezza and Carabineri Gruppo di Intervento Speciale which were both formed in the late 1970s in response to terrorism but was also adopted by other police and military forces who required a concealable weapon with rapid-fire capabilities. The Beretta 93R is mechanically similar to the Beretta 92. It can be selected to fire either a 3-round burst or a single fire. A selector switch enables the operator to alternate between the two firing modes. The pistol is fitted with a collapsible flip-down angled foregrip at the front end of the trigger guard to provide better stability when firing. A folding steel buttstock can be attached at the heel of the grip. The Beretta 93R is much more controllable compared to other machine pistols because it was designed with only a three-round burst mode as well as an elongated ported barrel.

The KSC M93R uses the same battle-proven System 7 design found on most of their other Airsoft guns, featuring an easily adjustable tactile half-rotating hop-up chamber dial for precise tuning for consistent accuracy. Adjusting the hop requires a specific System 7 key tool that comes with the gun, to adjust the hop-up, simply insert and seat the provided tool into the chamber and rotate left or right for less or more hop. The gun's external shell is made of high-quality metal powder-infused reinforced ABS polymer that is robust, heavyweight, and impact-resistant, additionally, the M93R is further reinforced with a metal internal frame for both the slide and grip assembly, making the pistol incredibly solid to the touch and shoot despite the ABS polymer externals. This particular M93R GBB pistol is based on the 1st generation 93R and as such is equipped with highly-detail faux wood grip panels instead of the standard black polymer grip panel for a more unique and authentic aesthetic. The KSC M93R, like the real steel version, has the same select fire capabilities from semi-auto to 3-round burst to full auto, with the switch located in front of the safety lever where your thumb would normally rest. The integrated folding foregrip is also present and deploys with a positive click, giving the end-user the option to use the foregrip when needed. Moving towards the heel of the gun, there is a 93R stock mounting interface that allows the installation of Beretta's folding stock for the 93R (KSC-4544416140302), giving the gun a stable shooting platform should the end-user choose to set it up that way. KSC's M93R GBB Airsoft pistol series all come with a 32-round gas-powered metal magazine. The magazine can be charged with either green gas for fast and snappy recoil impulse or duster gas for a lower gas pressure as the gun was originally designed for only HFC134a duster gas and runny green gas may increase wear and tear over time due to its higher-pressure output.

Overall, the KSC M93R 1st Version is an absolute blast to shoot with its fast and snappy recoil impulse and its select-fire capabilities. The aesthetics are on point with the faux wood grip adding a sense of uniqueness to the overall gun.
