RPK

AIRSOFT RPK

The RPK is a Soviet/Russian light machine gun that was developed by Mikhail Kalashnikov in the early 1960s in parallel with the AKM assault rifle. It was created to standardize the small arms inventory of the Soviet Army with the RPK 47 sharing almost identical parts commonality with the AK 47 it was adapted from. The RPK has since had a variant for each iteration of the AK including the RPK 74 and the RPK 16. The airsoft RPK is a relatively uncommon standalone airsoft model with many players preferring to convert their existing airsoft AK 47s to an airsoft RPK instead. Granted the best airsoft RPKs are easily from LCT with their steel RPK airsoft externals, these include the LCT Airsoft RPK AEG Rifle and the LCT Airsoft RPK S74 AEG Rifle.
