The Walther PP series pistols are blowback-operated semi-automatic pistols, developed by the German arms manufacturer Carl Walther GmbH Sportwaffen. Featuring an exposed hammer, a double-action trigger mechanism, a single-column magazine, and a fixed barrel that also acts as the guide rod for the recoil spring.

The PPK/S variant was developed specifically to curb the following of the enactment of the Gun Control Act of 1968 (GCA68) in the United States, the pistol?s largest market. One of the provisions of the GCA68 banned the importation of pistols and revolvers not meeting certain requirements of length, weight, and other ?sporting? features into the United States. The standard PPK failed the ?Import Points? test of the GCA68 by a single point. The heads at Walther addressed this situation by combining the PP?s frame with the PPK?s shorter barrel and slide to create a pistol that weighed slightly more than the PPK. The additional ounce or two of weight of the PPK/S compared to the PPK was enough to provide the extra needed import points

The Crown Walther PPK/S spring air-cocking Airsoft pistol is a high-quality spring-powered replica of the Walther PPK/S variant. Featuring a durable impact-resistant polymer construction, it is built to be lightweight and robust for what it is. As it is a spring-powered air-cocking Airsoft gun, the user must rack and cock the slide before and after every shot. It features the same external functionality as an actual PPK/S as it comes with a fully functional safety, though there is no decocking function with the safety lever.

The Crown Walther PPK/S spring air-cocking Airsoft pistol is a great piece to have for kids to learn basic firearm safety and is a perfect for some backyard plinking. It uses standard 6mm BBs and has a maximum capacity of 20 rounds.

"Good, affordable, and attractive"

For the price, it performs decently and doesn't feel like a cheap replica. It's supposed to be made of impact-resistant polymer, and the mold and details are quite good. As a replica, it's more than decent if you're looking for something to collect, display, or just play with. The replica would be perfect if it included two magazines, the normal one it comes with and another with the pinky finger extension. (Although, after doing some research, I found out that Crown will be releasing a version with the magazine extension in the future, so that's cool). MachSakai, a Japanese content creator, reviewed the replica and the other models released by Crown (his channel is dedicated to airsoft) in case you're interested. If you look hard enough, there are several videos out there that show how to disassemble the replica and show the inside of it in case you need it. This model is interesting because three brands have already released it under the Umarex label. First, it was Umarex itself, which released it years ago. then Acro (a Korean brand, I think) launched two versions, including one that was full metal, and now Crown has launched several Walther pistols (PPK, P99, CP99) which, according to various reviews by Japanese content creators, offer pretty good performance and more than decent quality for the price. From my perspective, I can say that the replica feels good and looks pretty good. Obviously, it's nothing to write home about, but if you need a good replica of the PPK, This is a very good option among several, especially if you don't want to spend so much money. From personal experience, I don't know if it's Redwolf or some external company, but my replica came with the orange tip glued on, which caused me a bit of a problem because the glue they used caused the slide to get stuck. If this happens to you, just put the tip of the gun in boiling water for a while and apply a little pressure to try to move it. After a while, it worked, and the slide was able to function perfectly. As a James Bond fan, I haven't stopped shooting the gun every chance I get, and so far, I haven't had any problems. As for Crown Model, I hope Redwolf decides to bring in more models from this brand. I've seen that they are quite decent for the price, as this brand specializes in releasing inexpensive but good replicas.
