ARES Striker AST 01 CO2 Airsoft Sniper - OD (RW Custom Version)

The new-look 'Tactical' STRIKER AST-01 from ARES Amoeba is the fourth iteration in the highly acclaimed STRIKER family line of bolt action sniper rifles. The STRIKER line of rifles has always been considered some of the best, if not the best, out-of-the-box airsoft sniper rifles for the price. Combining decent FPS consistency, modern designs, and a wide range of first-party accessories, the STRIKER and all three of its different iterations have taken the world by storm.

The AST-01 being the latest 'tactical' model, the rifles modularisation greatly optimises the shooters experience, with external upgrades such as M-LOK slots upfront on the 3, 6, and 9 o'clock positions, an adjustable cheek riser & butt pad, adjustable grip angle, and adjustable trigger. You will also find a redesigned safety lever placed in front of the trigger unit for easier accessibility to the magazine release levers that make it easier for the user to depress, releasing the magazine. Another aesthetic change includes a "stealth" bolt charging handle which is low profile. Internally, the cylinder has been upgraded to feature a stainless steel housing for higher durability and an upgraded magazine feeding feature for more consistent feeding of BBs to the chamber. As mentioned, the AST-01 is compatible with the whole line of STRIKER aftermarket parts with include both internal and external parts compatible with the AS-01, AS-02, as well as AS-03.

This particular AST-01 is pre-upgraded with the ARES AMOEBA Striker CO2 Magazine Set (CPSB-CO2-MAG-SET). This allows the AST-01 to use CO2 instead of spring, which provides a smoother bolt pull, and possibly higher FPS compared to the stock spring action ones. Please do note that you will have to pull open the bolt in order to pull the magazine out, as if not done so properly may damage the gun or the magazine.
