Attaches to a standard accessory rail with two quick detach throw levers, adds a higher rail surface to place the center of the scope (not included) approximately 12mm higher than before.

This is particularly handy for use with low profile type reflex sights and similar designs which place the the sight picture very low to the rail. Though some enjoy the close proximity to the bore access, some users prefer the comfort of using a slightly higher mounted scope.
